In Loving Memory of |
a family tradition around Christmas...ginger bread houses, constructed of graham crackers, icing, licorice, jelly beans...all sorts of good stuff to help us make our best creations. |
|
the twins on one of their school choir trips |
this has all of us except for Jason and his wife Mandie |
|
her 14th birthday and cake..."dad finally made me a chocolate one...yes!" |
spirit week her senior year in high school |
|
Rachael not only took and completed the intensive 12-week course called "Victory by Virtue" for women, she was very positively changed by it, and became an assistive leader in a succeeding course |
another Victory by Virtue shot...her graduation |
|
she really used to like the blues clues |
one of the few before-shots we have of the camry that she was driving when she had the accident |
|
the other pic we have of the camry is when we brought her home (for a surprise welcome-home party) from her month-long mission trip to Australia on July 8, 2003...little did we know we had less than a year to be with her on this earth |
This is an oldie for us, but a shot of ALL of us is a good thing to have!
chillin' at grandma's on her cool back porch |
she did well in many of our church dramas, this being an outdoor outreach
this shopping center is mine!!! on the serious side, folks, this gal could sniff out a bargain like nobody's business. |
Union Station in downtown Kansas City...a cool fountain that gave you only a second or two of no water to run inside the fountain and not get wet, then time it perfectly to run out of it again.
church youth group meeting at the leader's home |
they washed a LOT of cars and sold a LOT of fireworks to pay for their mission trips to Mexico
our youth had such a heart for the people there |
here is Rachael in one of the dramas they did in Mexico...you can see the section of carpet she was supposed to land her knees on at one point in the drama...but, as her youth pastor pointed out in the celebration of her life, she would sometimes miss and land her knees on the gravel, with bloody results...yet not complain and keep on ministering to the people of Mexico.
