Rachael's friend, Sarah, has something special that
she does regularly...something she also shared with Rachael. Rachael told me about
Sarah's tea's and I could tell she thought it was positive and special. Rachael said
that Sarah and her mom would have tea in the same manner, and Sarah brought that family
tradition with her to the Honor Academy to share with her friends. Sarah, and Rachael's accountability partner, Catherine, are shown in the photos below, along with Rachael's twin brother, Alan, and myself (dad). Sarah graciously invited Alan and me to have tea with her and Catherine during one of our visits to the Honor Academy campus following Rachael's death. Knowing this was something Rachael had done with Sarah, and that it meant a lot to Rachael, meant that it was also very meaningful to us. Sarah impressed us greatly with her indepth knowledge of various tea's and their qualities and characteristics, as well as her cool array of equipment to set up and have tea virtually anywhere. But the best thing was how God worked through His children at that moment, as He does so beautifully in so many ways...yes, even in having tea...to lovingly and spiritually bless a grieving twin brother and father. |

![]() Above you see us being given a journal of thoughts and sharings about Rachael that was put together by several of those on campus, along with some photos. To all who contributed to this very special gift, we cannot thank you enough. I will be putting things online from that journal, soon. |
