We expect to also have a few video clips from the ceremony...a deeply emotional experience for us all First, a few shots from the graduation ceremony Starting off right with some
excellent praise and worship
Alan was allowed to stand in
Rachael's place for the entire ceremony
The HA Director and a teacher
whom Rachael greatly appreciated
While other graduating interns
had a powerpoint slide showing their photo and
Alan accepting Rachael's
diploma
New friends who have also lost
a child...
Thank-you, God, for the bond
of Christianity
wish the day could have lasted
longer
One of Rachael's very special
friends
and another
Walking away from all the
interns and their families...for the last time...the tears were flowing, to put it mildly
We were able to put up a new
photo as the first one we placed on this fence next to the site of the accident had badly
faded. When we arrived to replace the photo, we found this beautiful arrangement of
flowers had been placed there by someone. I cannot begin to tell you how touching
this was...and is...and always will be.
While the rest of us were
walking away, Ed snapped this pic of himself next to the memorial photo of his princess
