friends are important |
here she's expertly holding her cousin Amy's baby. for a while in her life, Rach claimed to not want children. as you can tell in this pic, those of us who knew her, knew better. after pursuing the Lord so intensely, she came to realize her true worth in God's eyes, her realization that, because of this God-given worth, there would be a good and godly man who, someday, would be her mate, instead of just any ol' guy, and that she wanted to have children and be the warm, loving, nurturing and godly mom she didn't end up with. but one of the sad things about her death is that she did not have the chance in this life to break the cycle of the neglect and harmful maternal treatment she suffered, endured and, eventually, overcame. Rachael is such an overcomer. |
